Mason Boles scored one goal apiece and the Drew University men's soccer team earned a 2-1 non-conference victory at Immaculata University Wednesday evening.
With the match tied 1-1, Boles scored what held up as the game-winning goal for the Rangers (5-1-3), who pushed their unbeaten streak to six, going 5-0-1 during the stretch.
McLeod put the Rangers on the scoreboard in the 37th minute with his first goal of the season and the second of his career. Junior
Turkcan Curak provided the assist.
The Mighty Macs (1-8) tied it in the 39th minute to make it a 1- 1 game at the half. However, Boles made his first collegiate goal a memorable one, striking the 51st minute with what held up as the game-winner.
Freshman
Jacob Wexler started in goal for the Rangers and played the opening half before giving way to classmate
Ilyas Alkan in the second period. Both keepers were making the collegiate debut and finished with one save apiece.
Drew outshot Immaculat 24-7, but Tyler Guise stopped six shots for the Macs.
The Rangers resume their Landmark Conference schedule on Saturday, when they take on Lycoming College at 1 p.m. on Senior Day.
