Why did you choose Drew University?
I liked the idea of going to a small school where I would have a close relationship with my professors. It was also really close to home.

What is something most people don't know about you?
I consider myself atheist.

What is your most memorable moment as a Ranger?
Defeating Muhlenberg 2-1 in overtime my sophomore year.

How has being an athlete helped you as a student and in the classroom?
Being an athlete has helped me develop great relationships that have nurture my development in and outside of the classroom. It’s pretty much like having tutors for any subject whenever I need them.

What is the most difficult part of your sport?
I think the most difficult thing about soccer is being able to motivate those around you. Soccer is a sport that in order for the whole team to be successful, there needs to be a high level of synchronization and chemistry. If the players on the team are not on the same page it is very hard to perform well.

Why do you wear your jersey number?
My favorite Jersey number had always been 13, however when I came in as a freshman this number was taken so I chose #6. I was given the option to get #13 my sophomore year, however I decided to stay with #6 because I like being consistent.

What advice do you have for a prospective Drew University student-athlete?
Be a leader- find out what motivates you to play for your team and make an impact while you are here.

Why is community service important to your role as a student-athlete at Drew?
I think being able to play a sport at a collegiate level is a great privilege, so I think community service is very important because it’s a way to give back for those privileges that you are given.

Name one obstacle or form of adversity you have had to overcome...
I’d say being a commuter has been one of my biggest obstacles as a student-athlete/worker, to feel like I belong to the Drew Community. However, I’ve had great support from all of my peers that make me feel like I am part of this community just as much as they are.
