Mike Andres joined Coach Keckler's staff for the 2021-22 season. In his first season with Drew, the Rangers went 18-9 (11-3 in the Landmark Conference), reached the Landmark championship game, and won the competitive DeSales Al Senavities Tournament. Along with his other coaching responsibilities, Andres played important roles in Drew's scouting/game preparation during the season, as well as the recruiting for the incoming freshmen class for 2022-23. In the offseason, Andres coaches for the NJ Shoreshots AAU program.
Prior to joining Drew, Andres coached at various levels in New Jersey for the prior 20 seasons while enjoying a successful career in banking and finance. Andres grew up in Dayton, Ohio and played basketball at Flagler College in St. Augustine, Fla. He holds degrees in Business Administration from Flagler College, and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame. Andres lives in Chatham, N.J. with his wife and two children.
