Joe D'Arcangelo joined Lenny Armuth’s Drew University men's soccer staff in the summer of 2015. Prior to joining Drew, D’Arcangelo was a varsity soccer player with playing honors from Toms River South, recruited to play at Monmouth University in 1995, and has played for Boca FC in New Jersey.
 
D’Arcangelo works as a social studies educator at Lacey Twp HS where he was a volunteer, assistant coach, and head coach of Lacey Twp HS Mens Soccer for 9 years. He was named Atlantic City Press 2011 South Jersey Coach Of The Year and All Shore Media A-South Conference Coach Of The Year.
 
His team was named Star Ledger Ocean County team of the year in 2011. In 2013, D’Arcangelo was named All Shore Media A-South Coach of the Year. In 2013, he joined the staff of the top nationally ranked Players Development Academy. His PDA South Barcelona team is currently ranked #7 in NJ, #11 in region, and #27 nationally.
 
D’Arcangelo is a member of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America, holding NSCAA certifications, NJYS Licenses, pursuing USSF Licenses, and also a professional trainer for south jersey soccer clubs.
 
He resides in Toms River with his wife Suzanne, daughters Sofia, Stella, Maeve, and son, Luka.
