Joseph Illenye joined the Drew men's soccer team as an assistant coach for the 2016 season. He is the current JV head coach and varsity assistant coach at Pequannock High School.
Illenye recently completed a head coaching stint at Passaic County Community College. Prior to PCCC, he served as assistant coach at Berkeley (N.J.) College and Director of Operations at West Virgina University.
He holds a USSF "D" License and NSCAA Director of Coaching certification. Illenye graduated from East Stroudsburg University in 2011 with a degree in exercise science before earning his masters in athletic coaching administration from West Virgina University in 2013.
