2015: Howells spent his junior season anchoring the Blue and Green defense. In addition to throwing plenty of his signature slide tackles, Gio also assisted on a goal. Howells was a mainstay on a Ranger defense that allowed the second-fewest (19) goals in the conference. 

2014: As a sophomore, he saw a total of nine games for the season... Recorded 3 shots on goal... He is an imporant player for the Rangers midfield/defense... Named to the Fall 2014 Landmark Academic Honor Roll...

2013: In his first season wearing the blue and green he saw action in nine games...

High School: Played soccer for George Mousis at Randolph... An All-County selection his senior year...
