Justin Millan has joined the Drew University men's volleyball coaching staff for the team's inaugural season in 2022.
Since 2019, Millan has served as the head coach for the Central Jersey Volleyball Academy (CJVA) in East Hanover, N.J. In 2021, he guided the CJVA 13 Ruby Team to a 10-4 record along with a gold-medal performance at the Boardwalk Block Party Tournament. In addition, Millan served as a volunteer assistant coach at Orange (N.J.) High School in 2018.
As a student-athlete, Millan was a middle blocker for local rival Saint Elizabeth University from 2018-21. He helped the Eagles reach the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) finals in 2021, and he was the team MVP for the 2018-19 season. Millan led the team in kills per set (2.90) in 2021, and he was also tops on the squad in both kills (1.76 kps) and blocks (0.86 bpg) in 2019. He also led the team in blocks (0.59 bps) in 2018. Off the court, Millan graduated from Saint Elizabeth with degrees in Education and History.
