Rob McOmish joined Christa Racine’s Drew University women’s soccer coaching staff in the fall of 2018. A 1999 graduate of Montclair State University, McOmish had an impressive career on the men’s soccer team. In 1997, McOmish, a two-year captain, earned NCAA First Team All-America honors and was the New Jersey Division III Player of the Year. In 2010, McOmish was inducted into the Montclair State University Athletic Hall of Fame.
McOmish contributes significant coaching experience to the Rangers. Most recently, McOmish was the men's assistant soccer coach at Montclair State University. Prior to that, he served as head coach of the Montclair High School girls varsity soccer team, which won the Group IV State Championship in 2014. During his tenure at Montclair High School, McOmish was named New Jersey Coach of the Year by NJ.com.
Currently, McOmish remains the NE NPL Director and is on the coaching staff of MatchFit Soccer Academy.
