Drew men's soccer braved the elements to post a 3-0 win over Juniata in a Landmark Conference match on Saturday.  The Rangers got goals from Sam Nepveux, Jonah Silk and Greg Zizik while the defense posted its 11^th shutout of the season.  Dave Brigandi battled the rain, wind and cold to make a pair of saves as Drew improved to 7-3-5 and 4-0 in the LC.  Juniata falls to 6-8, 1-4.

The Rangers got on the board in the 32^nd minute of play.  Sam Nepveux crunched a shot from outside the 18 into the back of the net for his fourth goal of the season.  The tally is also the freshmen's second game winner of 2009.

With under a minute remaining in the half, Jonah Silk added Drew's second when his deflected shot from inside the 18 eluded Juniata's Joe Kohler in goal.  The goal is Silk's third of the season.

Finally, the Rangers got their third when Greg Zizik chipped Kohler in the 61^st minute of play.  That is a good sign for the Rangers as the reigning Offensive Player of the Year looks to have found his shooting touch at the key time of the season.  The goal is Zizik's second of the season.

Drew's Dave Brigandi was called upon just twice and handled both chances flawlessly as he posted his fourth shutout of the season. 

The win sets up a dramatic encounter on Wednesday night.  The Rangers travel to Kings Point to face the United States Merchant Marine Academy at 7:30 in a battle between the top two teams in the Landmark standings.  Following that big contest, the Rangers travel to third place Catholic before finishing off the regular season against Susquehanna on the 31^st.
