Armuth Collects Career Win Number 250 With Conference Victory

MADISON, N.J. (October 20, 2010) - Already the school's all-time leader in wins, Head Coach
Lenny Armuth collected his 250th win as the Rangers pick up their fifth conference win of the season with 2-0 shutout of Merchant Marine.
Drew (12-1-2, 5-0 Landmark) used two second half goals just four minutes apart from each other to defeat Merchant Marine (8-2-4, 3-1-2 Landmark) for the fourth consecutive year. In the 82nd minute freshman

Jesse Puzio (Pequannock, N.J./Pequannnock Twp.) to break the 0-0 gridlock.
Senior
Matthew Greenberg (Franklin Lakes, N.J./Indian Hills) added his eighth goal of the fall with 3:52 left in the game to seal the victory for the Rangers. Greenberg the reigning Landmark Player of the Week now has 25 points on the season, good for the most among the eight Landmark schools.
Goalkeeper
Jeff Rogers (Eldenburg, Md./Century) also achieved a career milestone on the night, registering his 40th win in a Ranger uniform. He was credited with three saves on the night including a diving effort with 1:03 remaining to preserve the shutout. The shutout is his fourth of the year for Rogers and 26th of his career.
The win also puts the Rangers in prime position as teams are jockeying for Landmark Conference playoff positioning. The five wins the conference are the most among any school and the Rangers now own head-to-head tiebreakers with Moravian and Merchant Marine.
The Rangers will return to action on Saturday when Catholic comes into town. The game will be part of the a Landmark Conference doubleheader starting with the women at 1:00 and the men at 3:30. Both teams will be honoring their seniors prior to each game.
