Box Score
MADISON, N.J. (September 15, 2010) - After almost 98 minutes of scoreless soccer, the Rangers finally emerged victorious after senior Adrian Kawuba (Watertown, Mass./Lexington Christian Academy) scored the game's lone goal on a penalty kick in the first overtime.

In front of a raucous crowd, made up of both Drew and FDU fans, it was Drew that was providing most of the excitement. The Rangers had a total 27 shots between the three periods of play. Only seven of them landed on goal but the Rangers were inches away from a number of scores.

Perhaps their closest opportunities came when Tyler DeTrude (Brentwood, Tenn./Immaculata) hit the post in in the 38th minute and Tommy Quirk (Maplewood, N.J./Columbia) fired one off the middle of the crossbar early in the second half.

After only one shot in the first overtime, Senior Matthew Greenberg (Franklin Lakes, N.J./Indian Hills) dribbled towards the top of the box and once he crossed the line was brought down by an FDU defender. The foul in the box set the stage for the senior midfielder who ripped a shot to the lower right 90 past a diving Kevin Herbert for the game winner.

The large Drew student contingent stormed the field and piled on Kawuba in celebration. The goal was his first of the season and helped the Rangers improve to 6-0, while FDU drops to 2-4.

Drew holds the series advantage in Men's Soccer 32-3-1. FDU now has not beaten Drew since 1981.

The Rangers will return to action when they host Vassar College this Sunday at 2:00 in Madison.
