Results
MADISON, N.J. (January 22, 2011) - The Rangers sealed their eighth win of the 2010-11 season this afternoon, as they swam past King's College, 90-75 in the final home meet of the year. The season win total is the most since the 1999-2000 season and one win short of the school record of nine set 1997.
Seniors
Kati Eggert (Denville, N.J./Morris Knolls) and
Sofia Quintanar (Teaneck, N.J./Teaneck) swam in their final home meet of their careers. Quintanar would make the most of her last meet, by swimming her normal three events and also entering herself as an exhibition in every event, which included the 1650 Free.
Eggert continued her dominance over the past few weeks as she took home two more individual wins in the 50 Free and the 100 Fly. She has now won her last nine individual races that she's entered over the past two weeks.
Freshman
Alexa Morrissey (Brooklyn, N.Y./Fontbonne Hall Academy) was the other Drew swimmer to pick up two individual wins. She touched first with lifetime bests in both the 100 and 200 Free with times of 58.24 and 2:08.71.
Drew will hit the road on Saturday to take on Scranton for their final meet before Landmark Championships.
