Rangers Finish Season in Scranton

SCRANTON, Pa. (January 29, 2011) - The Drew Men's swimming team finished up their 2010-11 dual meet season today falling to Scranton, 154-57. The Rangers will now shift their focus to the Landmark Conference Championships in two weeks.
Thomas DiGulielmo (Norwalk, Conn./Norwalk) was the only swimmer to register a first place win. Late in the meet he won the 200 IM with a time of 2:09.57. He also picked up four points for the team with a second place finish in the 200 Back.

Michael Ng (Scarsdale, N.Y./Edgemont),
Austin Goetjen (Simsbury, Conn./Avon Old Farms School) and
Matt Boudreau (Stockbridge, Mass./Monument Mountain) opened up the meet with the teams fastest 200 Medley time. The quartet turned in a time of 1:49.20, nearly a second faster then the previous mark.
Boudreau also had a solid meet, registering a season best in the 100 Free with a time of 57.65.
The men will be in the pool next in two weeks, on February 11-13 for the Landmark Conference Championships. Merchant Marine will host for the fourth-consecutive year. More information on the weekend can be found here
