In addition, senior

It was the 33rd straight semester in which the women's squad has been recognized with CSCAA Scholar All-America honors, while the Ranger men were honored for the 20th semester in a row.
Teams must have a combined GPA of 3.00 or higher in order to earn CSCAA Scholar All-America status. The Ranger men posted a team GPA of 3.56 during the spring semester while the women's squad recorded a 3.55 cumulative GPA.
The CSCAA honors its Scholar All-America programs twice an academic year, once after each semester. In total, 714 programs from 418 institutions earned the honor for the spring.
A Finance major, Heinio-Widell earned CSCAA Scholar All-America Second Team honors. Students that have achieved a grade-point average of 3.50 or higher and competed at their respective NCAA/NAIA/NJCAA swimming & diving championships are named to the CSCAA Scholar All-America First Team. In addition, students who have achieved a GPA of 3.50 and achieved a "B" time standard for the national championship or competed at a diving zone qualification meet receive second-team status.
A CSCAA First Team Scholar All-American last season, Heinio-Widell turned in another outstanding year in 2025-26. He captured the Landmark Conference Swimmer of the Year award for the third straight season after winning all seven of his events (three individual, four relay) at the Landmark Conference Championships for the third year in a row. He lowered his own school, meet, and conference record with an NCAA "B" cut in the 100-butterfly, and he helped both the 200- and 400-freestyle relay teams break meet records as well. Heinio-Widell graduated in three years and departs The Forest with 10 school records (50-100-200 Freestyle, 100-Butterfly, 200-IM, all 5 relays), six Landmark Conference records (100-freestyle, 100-butterfly, 200-free relay, 800-free relay, 200-medley relay, and 400-medley relay), and six Landmark Conference Championship meet records (100-freestyle, 200-freestyle, 100-butterfly, 200-free relay, 400-free relay, 200-medley relay). In 2025, he placed 18th in the 100-freestyle, 19th (tied) in the 100-butterfly, and 38th in the 200-IM at the NCAA Division III Championships.
Heinio-Widell is the fourth Ranger to earn CSCAA Scholar All-America honors. He is the second member of the Drew men's swimming & diving program to capture the award, as Hayden Koh C'24 garnered first-team recognition in 2022-23 and second-team distinction in 2023-24. On the women's side, Mal Vishwanath C'20 won the award in three consecutive years from 2018-20, capturing first-team honors in 2018, while Jenny Stein C'18 was a second-team honoree in 2017-18.
