MADISON, N.J. (October 25, 2011) – Both teams combined for five second half scores but it was the Rangers who emerged victorious with a 3-2 victory over Richard Stockton College (8-7) this evening.
Angela Terracciano (Keansburg, N.J./Raritan) scored her 12
th goal of the year and assisted on one other improving the Rangers to 11-7 on the season.
After both squads failed to score in the first 35 minutes, the Rangers exploded for three goals in less than three minutes to take a 3-0 lead midway through the second half. Terracciano got the Rangers on the scoreboard in the 47
th minute to take sole possession of second place in the conference goal scoring list. A little over a minute later,
Sarah Charles (Long Valley, N.J./West Morris) who assisted on the first Ranger goal was returned the favor when Terracciano found the junior forward for her third goal of the fall.

Melissa Boyd (Hellertown, Pa./Saucon Valley) flicked a ball over the Osprey defense for the eventual game-winner.
Stockton would not go away easily and get within a goal of the Rangers in the final minutes. The first goal scored on Ranger goalkeeper
Christiana Carlini (Amherst, N.H./Bishop Guertin) in over 100 minutes of action came in the 57
th minute when Alicia Leadbeater eliminated two Ranger defenders and rocketed a ball into the left side of the cage.
Less than four minutes later, Megan Irvin collected a rebound off Carlini's pad to close the gap to just one goal. The Drew defense held strong for the final 15 minutes of play clinching the second win in four days for Head Coach
Felicia Cappabianca.
Carlini finished the night with six saves and five in the final half for her eighth win of the fall. Her counterpart, Liz Stankiewicz, notched seven saves in the Osprey's second non-conference loss.
The Rangers will begin to prepare for #12 Catholic who will come to Madison in the season finale. The winner will earn the number one seed in the upcoming Landmark Conference playoffs.
