HUNTINGDON, Pa. (April 7, 2012) – Drew (13-10, 4-5 Landmark) scored nine runs in the top of the first inning to help defeat Juniata (10-17, 2-10 Landmark) on the road, 14-6. Sophomore
Ken Meyers (Stratford, N.J./Sterling) quieted the Eagle bats allowing no earned runs over six and two thirds innings of work for his second win of the year.

Tom Murray (Brick, N.J./Brick Memorial) put together his third, three-hit performance of the season, going 3-for-4 with two RBIs and two runs scored. Lead-off man
Michael Bodden reached base four times, scoring three runs in the victory.
The Rangers wasted little time getting on the scoreboard in the first inning of play. Drew sent 13 batters to the plate, scoring a season-high nine runs in the frame. RBI Doubles by
Chris DelMaestro (Hillsborough, N.J./Hillsborough) and Bodden along with four hits and two Eagle errors led to the nine-run outburst.
In the top of the third the Rangers posted three more runs, taking a commanding 12-0 lead. An RBI double by Murray that scored
Steven DeBonis and then a pair of RBI singles by
Drew Obergfell (Cranford, N.J./Roselle Catholic) and
Michael Chiarella (Harrison, N.Y./Harrison) gave the rangers a double-digit advantage. The Eagles responded with three unearned runs in the bottom half of the inning to make the score 12-3 after just three innings.
Each player in the starting lineup recorded a hit in the game.
Pete Tuchol (Ridgewood, N.J./Ridgewood), Delmaestro, Murray, and Chiarella had two RBIs in the contest.
The Rangers will return to Doc Young field on Tuesday with a newly scheduled game against St. Joseph's College at 4:00 p.m.
