Box Score HOBOKEN, N.J. (September 5, 2012) – Nationally ranked Stevens Institute of Technology (2-1) blanked the Rangers this evening, 3-0 dropping Drew to 1-1-1 on the season.
The Ducks took an initial lead 15 minutes into the contest on an unassisted goal by Victor Daza. The 1-0 lead would hold true all the way until the halftime horn. The Rangers dug themselves into a deep hole early in the second half, surrendering a pair of goals just 16 seconds apart.

Rich Boland (North Kingstown, R.I./Moses Brown) but fell to the foot of Zach Adler who put home his third goal of the fall. The Ducks turned around just 16 seconds later when Stephen Dunbar found a ball kicked right to his feet in the box that he stuffed into the back of the net for the third goal of the night.
Boland played all 90 minutes in front of the net for the Rangers, making four saves. His counterpart, Paul Killian faced only three shots on goal, stopping all three to earn the shutout.
Stevens held a 10-6 advantage in shots while Drew got seven corner kick opportunities compared to just two by the Ducks.
The Rangers will compete in the Scarlet Raider Classic this weekend hosted by Rutgers-Newark. The will kick-off the weekend with a matchup against Hunter College on Saturday at 11:00 a.m.
