HILLSIDE, N.J. (September 14, 2013) – The Drew University Equestrian team embarked on their annual tradition on Saturday morning at the Community Foodbank of New Jersey.
 
The team spent the morning preparing 1,260 kits of food for kids to take home for weekend meals in their backpacks. The event is one of two volunteer events the team participates in the fall.
 
Equestrian will kick-off their 2013-14 show schedule on Saturday, September 28 at Crosswinds for the Marist Horse Show.
 
The Community FoodBank of New Jersey (CFBNJ), a member of Feeding America, distributes food, provides education and training, develops programs to help hungry people throughout the state, and engages all sectors of society in this mission.
