Liz Loiodice (Forest Hill, Md./John Carroll) scored the game-winner for the Rangers with just seven seconds left in the game after intercepting a pass from the Eagle goalkeeper.
Drew controlled possession for most of the first half out shooting the Eagles, 8-3. The Rangers best opportunity in the first half came on a shot from the foot of Loiodice from just outside the box that hit the crossbar. The score was tied, 0-0 at halftime.
Just 13 minutes into the second half Mary Washington midfielder Excy Herrera scored the lone Eagle goal from the top right corner of the box off an assist from Maryfay Jackson. In the 76

Katie O'Keefe (Shamong, N.J./Senaca) collected a rebound from a blocked shot and fired a cross into the box. O'Keefe's ball was deflected off an Eagle defender and trickled passed the goalkeeper. Drew and Mary Washington ended regulation tied, 1-1.
The Rangers controlled most of the first overtime by putting all three of their shots on goal and not allowing an Eagle shot. The teams remained tied at one at the conclusion of the period. The second overtime period the Eagles tested the Rangers defense by putting two shots on cage.
Sophomore goalkeeper
Sara Nash (Kingston, Wash./Kingston) played all 109 minutes for the Rangers. Nash made a career high eight saves allowing and one goal while picking up her fourth win of the season.
The team returns to action on Wednesday night September 25 at 7PM when they travel to Hoboken for an in-state match with the Ducks of Stevens Tech.
