HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. (Sept. 6, 2015) – On the strength of five shots and two assists from senior forward
Emma Campbell, the Drew University women's soccer team earned a victory in the finale of the Cyclone Classic by defeating the hosts, Centenary College, 3-0, on Sunday afternoon.
Freshmen midfielders

Meghan McDermott worked together to earn their first career points as Kelly assisted on McDermott's goal. Senior
Shannon Slowey notched three points in the win as she scored and assisted. She now leads the team with five points on the season. Senior forward
Victoria Condon netted the first goal of her career just four minutes into the second half.

Ryan Jackson split the shutout and combined for four saves.
The contest's first score and the only one of the first half came when Kelly drove a through ball that sprung McDermott. McDermott then popped one in the upper right hand corner of the net and past the goalie. The goal came in the 36
th minute and sent the Rangers into the half up 1-0.
Condon's goal came when Campbell sent a ball into Slowey that she redirected. Condon collected and fired into the top left corner. The goal put Drew up 2-0. Six minutes later, Slowey and Campbell combined again as Campbell's shot got saved but bounced out to Slowey, who scored her second goal of the year. The 3-0 lead would hold until the final whistle.
Drew will now host its own tournament when they return home for Fall Festival. The tournament kicks off on Saturday, Sept. 12
th with a contest between the Rangers and Stockton University at 1:00 p.m. at Ranger Stadium.
