TROY, N.Y. (April 26, 2016) – The Drew University men's lacrosse team wrapped up 2016 non-conference play with a 13-4 loss at No. 16 Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute on Tuesday evening.

- Junior attack Tom Cotroneo netted a hat trick, the first of his career, with three goals all coming in the second half. He got the Rangers on the board at the 8:49 mark of the third quarter, scoring unassisted after backing down his defender.
- Senior midfielder Steven Cola scored the 16th goal of his season in the fourth quarter.
- Junior goalkeeper Teddy Sweeney made 17 saves, including eight in the third quarter.
Other Highlights
- Drew scored three of the four goals of the fourth quarter with Cotroneo notching two and Cola one ... Cotroneo finished with eight shots and a game-high six ground balls.
- RPI scored the game's first 10 goals, outshot the Rangers 52-22 and won the ground ball battle 40-29.
- Junior defender Michael Lloyd caused a turnover against the Engineers, marking the 12th straight game with a caused turnover for the Rangers' co-captain.
