#23 Drew Clinches Landmark Conference Tournament Berth

SELINSGROVE, Pa. – The 23rd-ranked Drew University men's soccer team (14-0-1, 5-0-0 Landmark) continued its winning streak with a 4-0 victory over Susquehanna (4-8-2, 2-2-1 Landmark) at Sassafras Field on Saturday afternoon.  With the win, their 11th straight, the Rangers clinched both a berth and a home game in the Landmark Conference Tournament.

Andy Imoh (Sugar Land, Texas) got the Rangers on the board in the ninth minute, when he took a pass from Tyler Kwaak (Hillsborough, N.J.) and blasted a one-timer past Susquehanna goalkeeper Matt Ellingworth.  Imoh scored again six minutes later, then Anthony McMyne (Succasunna, N.J.) made it 3-0 with a 23rd-minute strike.

Matt Asante (Staten Island, N.Y.) added to the Rangers' tally in the 56th minute, as Drew wrapped up its second straight Landmark Tournament spot with the 4-0 triumph.  The Rangers, who will host a semifinal game for the first time since 2011, will secure the Landmark regular season title and the No. 1 seed in the conference tournament with a win or tie at Catholic next Saturday.

Imoh had his second multi-goal game of the season, and he also picked up an assist on Asante's score.  Jason Adamo (Roxbury, N.J.) (14-0-1), meanwhile, recorded his eighth shutout of the season and fourth in Drew's last five games.  He made three saves in the victory.  Ellingworth (3-8-2) stopped five shots for Susquehanna.

Drew continues its three-game road trip with a 7:30 p.m. contest at Kean (8-5-1) on Wednesday.  It will be the Rangers' final non-conference game of the season.
