ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. (April 8, 2017) – The Drew University men's lacrosse team put up a fight against Elizabethtown College, a team undefeated in Landmark Conference play, but came up just shy at the short end of an 11-7 setback on the road, Saturday afternoon.
By the Numbers: The Rangers drop to 4-6 overall and 0-2 in the conference while E-town improves to 9-3 and stays undefeated in the Landmark, 4-0.
Top Performers
• Freshman midfielder
Kyle MacDonnell turned in his first multi-goal game in Blue and Green, scoring twice on a team-high seven shots. He also contributed four ground balls to the cause, which led the team.
• Junior attacker
Jack Crowley added to his team-leading goal total, adding numbers 17 and 18 on Saturday.
• Freshman midfielder
Seamus O'Connor scored twice as well, making it five for him in his last two games.
Turning Point: The Rangers and Blue Jays jockeyed for position in the first quarter, trading goals equally but E-Town pulled away in the second, scoring four times before Drew could respond. That flurry created a hole too deep for Drew to climb out of.

• Drew opened the second half with another quick two goals when Crowley and MacDonnell traded goals to trim the deficit to three.
• Freshman midfielder
Kevin Goettlich added his 15th goal of the season when he scored with seconds remaining in the first quarter. He extends his streak to scoring in the first 10 contests of his collegiate career.
