Drew Scores Three Late Goals to Beat Moravian

BETHLEHEM, Pa. -  Moravian held the Drew University men's soccer team in check for 80 minutes on Saturday night.  However, the Rangers (10-0-1, 2-0-0 Landmark) erupted for three goals in the final 10 minutes to notch a 3-0 victory over the Greyhounds (6-2-1, 1-1-0 Landmark) at John Makuvek Field.

It marked Drew's first victory over Moravian since 2014 after the teams played to a draw in each of the last two years.  The Rangers defeated the Greyhounds in Bethlehem for the first time since 2013.

Drew had a number of offensive chances, but wasn't able to slip one past Moravian goalkeeper Bryan Yaskowski until Nate Race (Bridgewater, N.J.) found the back of the net in the 81st minute.  Benjamin Audi (Paramus, N.J.) then made it 2-0 with a header at the 85-minute mark.  It looked like it would be a 2-0 final until Aidan Cserhat (Taos, N.M.) extended his personal goal-scoring streak to seven consecutive games with three seconds remaining in the contest.

The Rangers outshot the Greyhounds 16-8, including a 7-2 edge in the second half.  Cserhat's goal was his 13th of the season, and he was also credited with the assist on Audi's tally.  Jason Adamo (Roxbury, N.J.) (10-0-1) made three saves in his fifth shutout of the year.  Yaskowski (6-1-1), meanwhile, recorded five saves for Moravian.

This was Drew's only road contest in a six-game stretch.  The Rangers begin a three-game homestand against Scranton (7-3-0, 1-1-0 Landmark) at 7 p.m. on Wednesday.  Drew and Scranton are the only Landmark Conference teams currently ranked in the Mid-Atlantic Regional poll.
