MADISON, N.J - The Drew University men's soccer team (11-5, 5-2 LC) jumped to a 2-0 lead, then held off a late threat from Susquehanna University and the Rangers earned a 2-1 Landmark Conference victory in its regular-season finale Saturday afternoon a cold and rainy Ranger Stadium. Earlier in the day, results from three other Landmark Conference games clinched the No. 3 seed for Drew in the upcoming conference playoff tournament. The Rangers will visit second-seeded Catholic University in the Landmark semifinals on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
How it Happened - It didn't take long for the Rangers to strike, as they cashed in on a set piece. In the 15th minute, senior

Niko Cserhat, who headed the ball across the box to his brother,
Aidan Cserhat. Aidan sent in a header of his own for his Landmark Conference-leading 12th goal of the year. Then in the 51st minute, junior
Tyler Kwaak gave a lead pass to sophomore
Nate Race who the volleyed the ball over the head of the River Hawk goalkeeper for the second goal of the contest. After yielding a goal in the 73rd minute, the Rangers dug in defensively, preventing Susquehanna from taking a shot the rest of the way.
Stat Sheet - The Rangers outshot the River Hawks 22-4 and held a 4-3 edge in corner kicks. Junior goalkeeper
Jason Adamo recorded one save for the Rangers while Kyle Speckhart gathered nine stops for Susquehanna. Thirty fouls were called during the contest - 16 for Susquehanna and 14 for Drew. The two sides also combined for six yellow cards - four for Drew and two for the visitors.
