Alex Gilgorri tallied a first-half goal for Drew (5-5-2, 0-2-1 LC).
How it Happened: Lydia Lawson struck twice for Etown (4-5-2, 2-1 LC), putting the Blue Jays on the scoreboard just 1:06 into the contest on the first shot of the game before converting again off a rebound in the 13th minute. The Rangers answered later in the opening half when Gilgorri headed in a pass from sophomore
Leah Dentale in the 32nd minute; however, the visitors were unable to find the equalizer the rest of the way.
Second Half: The Blue Jays outshot the Rangers 11-4 in the first half, but Drew turned up the heat in the second period, when it held a 9-6 shot advantage. The Rangers placed four shots on frame in the stanza, but that's when Etown keeper Christine Fox made all four of her saves. Sophomore
Madison Dudziec also collected four stops in the second half to keep the Rangers in it.
Stats Sheet: Elizabethtown finished with a 17-13 shot advantage while both teams earned four corner kicks. The Rangers were called for three more fouls (7-4) than the Blue Jays. Dudziec finished with six saves.
