WAYNE, N.J. - The Drew University women's soccer team scored the first two goals of the game and held on to capture a 2-1 non-conference victory at William Paterson University Wednesday evening.

Angela Accetturo made a pair of saves in the period.
Drew doubled its lead in the 59th minute, when freshman
Gabby Gilgorri drilled in a corner kick from junior
Leah Dentale. The Pioneers (5-3-2) got on the scoreboard with a penalty kick in the 73rd minute, but the Rangers allowed just one shot the rest of the way, and it was saved by Accetturo, who finished with four stops for the night.
The Rangers finished with a slight 8-7 edge in shots.
