BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Six different Rangers scored in double figures and the Drew University men's basketball team defeated host Moravian College 98-83 in Landmark Conference (LC) action Wednesday evening in Johnston Hall.
The Rangers (13-3, 4-1 LC), who shot a season-high 56.9% from the field, tied the highest scoring output in team history for a Landmark Conference game ending in regulation. Drew has now tied the program record for the best record through 16 games.
Junior forward
Lybrant Robinson led the Rangers with 18 points on 8-of-12 shooting while freshman forward
Howard McBurnie, Jr. posted a season-high 17 points on 7-of-9 shooting to go with seven rebounds and four assists. Senior guard
Michael Boice pumped in a career-high 17 points off the bench while junior forward
Malachi Walker, Jr. registered his second straight double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds to go with five blocked shots.

Riley Collins added to the tremendous team effort with 14 points and four assists while freshman forward
Michael Kane chipped in with a season-high 10 points.
C.J. Barnes scored 25 points to pace the Greyhounds (7-9, 2-3 LC).
In a rematch of last year's Landmark Conference championship game, the Rangers broke open up a close game late in the first half. A 13-5 run, capped by a 3-for-3 trip at the foul line from sophomore guard
David Gervase, put the Rangers up 41-32 with 4:24 on the clock. Drew continued to pull away and led 50-37 at the break.
Boice scored 11 of his points in the first half, when the Rangers shot 60.0% from the field.
The Greyhounds pulled to within six three minutes into the second half, but Drew quickly answered with an 8-0 surge to push the lead back to 14 (60-46). McBurnie kicked off the run with a 3-pointer before Collins completed an old-fashioned 3-point play. Walker capped the rally with a dunk.
Drew's lead ballooned to 21 (74-53) midway through the period after a 12-2 run, capped by five straight points from McBurnie, and the Rangers would lead by at least 13 the rest of the way.
The Rangers return home on Saturday, when they face Elizabethtown at 2 p.m. in another Landmark Conference affair.
