MADISON, N.J. - Goucher College scored in the 87th minute and the Gophers edged the Rangers 2-1 in a Landmark Conference (LC) match on Senior Day in Ranger Stadium on Saturday.

Drew (6-7-1, 1-3-1 LC) scored the only goal in the first half, as junior Ayla Lopez converted a pass from senior Ela Christensen in the 13th minute for her sixth goal of the season.

The Rangers out-shot Goucher 5-2 in the opening period, but the Gophers attempted the only five shots in the second stanza. The visitors pulled even on a goal in the 64th minute before Emma Yakim punched in the game-winner, minutes after an apparent go-ahead goal from the Rangers was waved off due to an offside call.

Junior Anthi Panayides collected three saves for Drew while Jenna Abaza also stopped three shots for Goucherr (6-7, 2-3 LC).

The Rangers continue their season on Wednesday, when they visit Rutgers-Newark at 7:30 p.m. in a non-conference match.
