LONG VALLEY, N.J. - The Drew University equestrian team competed in its final horse show of the fall semester on Saturday at Centenary University, where they hosted along with Sarah Lawrence College.

The team performed very well. Sophomore Catherine Ulassin won her Limit Fences section B class and placed second in her Limit Flat section D class. She became a reserve High Point Rider for her high placings. Junior captain Elizabeth Baker competed for the first time in Limit Flat and placed sixth in section A.

Freshman Brynn McCarthy placed third in her Limit Flat section E class. Junior Katja Zengel won her Novice section A class, and senior Rebecca Sharman placed fifth in her Novice section C class. Freshman Amelia Tirey and junior Abby Rogers competed in the Pre-Novice class, sections A and B respectively, placing fourth. Freshman Gianna Olson concluded the show, placing fifth in the Intro section C class.

With the 2021 season coming to an end, the team bids farewell to senior Rebecca Sharman, who will be studying abroad in London next semester. The Drew University equestrian team will be competing in the 2022 season with three shows in February, and Baker will move on to compete in Regionals in April for the Novice class.
