HUNTINGDON, Pa. – Juniata scored the tying goal with less than three minutes remaining, as the Eagles forced a 2-2 tie with Drew University on Saturday in Landmark Conference men's soccer action.
The Rangers (11-2-4, 1-2-3) return home next Saturday for the regular-season finale, hosting Susquehanna at 1:00 p.m.
Drew got off to a good start, creating a scoring opportunity in the third minute.
Christian Tyson got a shot off from the top of the Juniata penalty area and keeper Devon Angermeier made a diving stop.
Tyson did put the visitors in front with 24:37 expired, using his left foot to direct a shot into the lower-right corner of the net for his ninth tally of the season.
Matthew Agudelo earned his team-leading sixth assist of the season. The Rangers nearly struck again six minutes later, but
Patrick Catillo's bid glanced off the crossbar.
The Eagles pulled even in the 32nd minute as Ian Edwards got the hosts on the scoreboard.
The Rangers jumped back into the lead in the second stanza when
Gabe Di Pierro scored with 28:02 showing on the clock.
Thomas Zurkowski served a nice lead pass into the box that Bradley touched past the charging goalie for a 2-1 cushion.
Edwards forced the tie with his second goal of the game with 2:45 remaining. The Eagle placed a shot from 10-yards out under the crossbar to make it a 2-2 contest.
Kevin Kiernan had a late bid for Drew to get the win, but Angermeier made the stop to keep the final score deadlocked.

Calum Erlenborn finished with one save, while Angermeier registered nine stops as the Rangers held a 17-9 advantage in shots.
