TOWSON, Md. – Senior goalie Anna Horne has been selected as the Landmark Conference Women's Lacrosse Defensive Athlete of the Week.
 
Horne tied a season-high with 15 saves and picked up three ground baljls in Drew's 17-13 win over Ursinus College this past Saturday. She made nine of her stops in the first half, when the Bears fired off 23 of their 37 shots. Horne also turned aside four shots during a decisive 6-0 Drew run late in the game, helping the Rangers pull away.
 
For the season, Horne has played all but 15 minutes in goal for the Rangers, posting a 12.84 goals-against average and a .496 save percentage.
 
Drew (2-3) continues its season on Wednesday, when it visits Lebanon Valley College in a non-conference matchup starting at 5 p.m.
