WASHINGTON – The Drew University women's swimming & diving team picked up three wins in their season opener on Saturday at Catholic University.
The Cardinals captured the meet by a score of 183-95.
Senior
Sam Trodick prevailed in the 200-breaststroke, touching the wall in 2:35.07, and was second in the 200-IM (2:21.20). Freshman
Ellis Murray made the most of her collegiate debut, winning the 200-freestyle (2:01.38) and taking second in the 200-backstroke (2:14.40).
Sophomore
Ana McDonald also won an event, capturing the 1-meter diving with a score of 140.40. In addition, senior
Katerina Poulathas took second in both the 1,000-freestyle (11:16.12) and the 200-IM (2:21.20).
The Rangers return to competition next Saturday with a dual meet at Montclair State University starting at 1 p.m.
