MADISON, N.J. – Lycoming College scored twice in just under two minutes early in the second half and the Warriors rallied to hand the Drew University men's soccer team a 2-1 loss in Landmark Conference action Saturday afternoon in Ranger Stadium.
Sophomore
Kevin Martinez scored for the Rangers in the 18th minute, connecting off a pass from junior
Jonathan Gutierrez for his fifth goal of the season.
Drew led 1-0 at the half before the Warriors (8-5-4, 3-3-2 LC) pulled even on a goal from Christian Woobay in the 58th minute. Keller Chamovitz then sent in the game-winner in the 59th minute.
The Rangers outshot the Warriors 16-9 but Jace Bennett made five saves for Lycoming.
Graduate student
David Hoyt turned aside a pair of shots for the Rangers (7-8-3, 1-6-1 LC).
Drew plays its season finale next Saturday, when it takes on Susquehanna University at 3:30 p.m. on Senior Day.
