HUNTINGDON, Pa. – The Drew University women's volleyball team faced the No. 1-ranked team in Division III Friday evening, visiting Juniata College in a Landmark Conference match.
The undefeated Eagles (24-0, 8-0 LC) won by scores of 25-16, 25-15, and 25-15.
The Rangers (10-18, 3-5 LC) received six kills and four digs from junior
Teeya Desgoutte while freshman
Lindsey Millis notched five kills and four digs. Junior
Emily Shirk, filling in at setter, handed 13 assists while senior
Genevieve Sarinelli scooped 11 digs. Senior
Alyssa Baron knocked down three blocks.
Mia Schubert paced Juniata, the defending Division III national champion, with 11 kills.
The Rangers play their Landmark Conference regular-season finale on Saturday, when they visit Lycoming College starting at noon.
