WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Sophomore
Alyssa Rachwal broke the school record for career assists and the Drew University women's volleyball team clinched its second consecutive berth in the Landmark Conference Championship tournament with a 3-1 victory at Lycoming College in its final regular season conference match of the season on Saturday.
The Rangers (11-18, 4-5 LC) won by scores of 25-14, 16-25, 25-20, and 25-23.
Drew, which tied a school record for service aces in a four-set match (14), earned the No. 6 seed in the conference tournament and will visit No. 3-seeded Elizabethtown College in a first-round match on Tuesday, Nov. 12.
Rachwal distributed 41 assists and surpassed the former Drew record of 1,400 assists set by Jasmine Butler over the first two years of the team's existence in 2021-22. Rachwal now has 1,432 helpers for her career.

Teeya Desgoutte led the Rangers with 15 kills and 23 digs while classmate
Emily Shirk totaled 15 kills, nine digs, and four aces. Freshman
Lindsey Millis notched 10 kills and 12 digs, and added freshman
Aidyn Stone tallied four aces and seven digs. Senior
Genevieve Sarinelli contributed to the defensive effort with 17 digs.
The Rangers close out the regular season next Saturday, when they travel to New Paltz for a tri-match. Drew takes on Stevens at 1:30 p.m. before facing New Paltz at 4 p.m.
