NEWARK, N.J. – The Drew University men's volleyball team returned to action after a seven-day layoff and was handed a 3-0 setback to Rutgers-Newark Friday evening.
The Scarlet Raiders (7-6) won by scores of 25-16, 25-18, 25-15.
Jacob Sledz and
Destan Llolla each posted three kills for the Rangers while
Omarf Ortega-Reyes added seven assists and five digs.
Bryan Do also contributed five digs while
C.J. Addeo,
Jason Barbosa, Andrew DuHaime,
Ephraim Smith, and Llolla added two blocks apiece.
The Rangers continue their season on Monday, when they host Mount Saint Vincent at 7 p.m.
