SELINSGROVE, Pa. – Senior Melina Christodoulou and sophomore Emily Camlet won the first track & field individual conference titles in program history on Saturday at the Landmark Conference Indoor Championships, hosted by Susquehanna University.

The Rangers, competing in their inaugural season as a varsity program, scored 40 points and tied Juniata for sixth place out of eight teams. Drew finished in front of Goucher (18 points) while Susquehanna won the team title with 155 points.

Christodoulou soared 5-4 1/2 in the high jump to capture the gold, edging Moravian's Jocelynn Itterly by over an inch. She cleared her first three heights on her first attempt, then leaped 5-4 1/2 on her second attempt. Her jump was a season-best mark and it places her 33rd on the current NCAA Division III leaderboard. Christodoulou scored additional points in the Rangers with her sixth-place finish in the triple jump (34-4 3/4).

Camlet also recorded a season-best mark while capturing the 400-meter dash. She sprinted the two-lap event in 59.24, beating Moravian's Abby Giamoni by a half second.  Camlet also scored in the 200-meter dash, taking eighth in 27.12.

Three other Rangers earned team points by virtue of their top-eight finishes. Sophomore Kate Rice placed fifth with a season-best clocking in the mile (5:31.42), and she was also eighth in the 3,000-meter run (10:57.16). Freshman Sage Hendershot placed fifth in the 60-meter dash (8.10) while sophomore Mazzy Cirinelli took eighth in the high jump (4-11 1/2).

Cirinelli also placed 11th in the long jump (15-4 1/2) and 12th in the 60-meter hurdles (10.34) while Hendershot took 11th in the 400 (1:04.34), 15th in the 200 (27.77), and 17th in the long jump (14-6 1/2). Christodoulou also came in 13th in the long jump (15- 3/4) while freshman Skyler McGuire was 15th in the mile (6:09.72). Freshman Sarah Hattan finished 19th in the 800-meter run (2:39.90), and freshman Lauren Rizzolo was 24th in the long jump (27-10 1/4).

Drew also had a pair of relay teams in action. The distance medley took fifth, as Rice, sophomore Annelise Wade, McGuire, and Hattan were timed at 13:56.67. In addition, the 4x400 squad of Camlet, Hendershot, Rice, and Hattan placed seventh in 4:32.73.
