CSC Women's Cross Country/Track & Field Academic All-District Team

MADISON, N.J. – Six members of the Drew University women's track & field team have been named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Women's Cross Country/Track & Field Team.
 
Senior Emily Camlet, senior Dejanayha Hill, junior Sophia Kim, sophomore April Kusnier, senior Kate Rice, and senior Lauren Rizzolo all earned the award for the Rangers.
 
Camlet and Rice captured CSC Academic All-District® recognition for the third year in a row while Hill earned her second consecutive honor. Additionally, Camlet was chosen as a CSC Academic All-America® finalist and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced July 15.

The 2026 Academic All-District® Cross Country/Track & Field Teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the track and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

To be nominated for the CSC Academic All-America® program in cross country/track & field, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore with a 3.5 or higher cumulative grade-point average. They must also be ranked in the top-50 in their region in a single individual track & field event per the TFRRS performance list rankings at the time of their nomination or finish in the top-50 at an NCAA regional cross country meet.
 
Each school may nominate a maximum of six male and six female student-athletes for the CSC Academic All-America® program.
 
An Italian Studies and Statistics double major with a 4.0 GPA, Camlet is coming off another outstanding season as a long sprint specialist for the Rangers. She earned her first All-America honor this past spring after placing 13th in the 400-meter dash at the NCAA Division III Championships, and she was also a national qualifier at the NCAA Indoor Championships. She earned four All-Region honors this past season (outdoor – 400-meter dash; indoor – 60-, 200-, and 400-meter dash) and finished the season ranked No. 1 in the Metro Region in the 400 both indoors (55.75) and outdoors (55.97). At the Landmark Conference Outdoor Championships, she was named the Track Athlete of the Year after winning both the 200- and 400-meter dash. Camlet also captured the Landmark Conference indoor title in the 400 and is now a six-time conference champion. In addition, she competed for the cross country team this past fall after spending the previous three seasons as a member of Drew's women's soccer team.
 
Hill, a Psychology and Sociology double major with a 3.95 GPA, helped lead the Rangers in throwing events this past year and finished the outdoor season ranked No. 44 in the Metro Region in the hammer. She competed at both the Landmark Conference Indoor and Outdoor Championships, placing 23rd in the weight throw and 22nd in the hammer.
 
A Biochemistry and Molecular Biology major with a 3.83 GPA, Kim completed her debut season with the Rangers this past season and finished with a No. 20 Metro Region ranking in the 10,000-meter run (41:31). In the same event, she scored for the Rangers at the Landmark Conference Championships with her seventh-place finish. Kim also placed 19th in the 5,000-meter run at the Landmark Conference Outdoor Championships. In addition, she was a member of Drew's cross country team and was the squad's No. 5 runner at the Landmark Conference Championships, where she ran her fastest time of the year for 6K (25:42).
 
Kusnier, a Neuroscience major with a 3.77 GPA, made her mark in the middle-distance events during indoor track & field season, posting a No. 32 regional ranking in the mile (5:27.47). She was also the team's top performer in the 800-meter run, posting a season-best time of 2:31.71. She also competed in cross country and finished as Drew's No. 3 runner at both the Landmark Conference Championships and the NCAA Metro Region Championships, where she clocked a PR of 24:18 to help the Rangers to their top regional finish (10th) in team history.
 
A Marketing major with a 3.71 GPA, Rice helped lead the way for the Rangers in the long and middle-distance events. In cross country, she earned Honorable Mention All-Landmark Conference honors with her 15th-place finish at the conference championship. She also broke the top-50 at the regional championship, placing 47th. On the track, Rice finished top-50 regional rankings both indoors (No. 37, 3000-meter run, 11:03.38) and outdoors (No. 40, 5000-meter run, 19:36.29). At the Landmark Conference Championships, she placed 14th in the 3000 (indoors) and 18th in the 1500 (outdoors).
 
Rizzolo, a Psychology major with a 3.64 GPA, was among the team's top throwers and finished with top-50 regional rankings in three events during the outdoor season (No. 20, hammer, 40.94m; No. 24, javelin, 31.74m; No. 42, discus, 32.09m) and two events during the indoor campaign (No. 17, weight throw, 13.45m; No. 45, shot put, 9.68m). She scored for the Rangers at the Landmark Conference Outdoor Championships, where she placed fifth in the hammer. She also placed 14th in the javelin and 23rd in the discus at the outdoor conference championship and 13th in the weight throw and 24th in the shot put at the indoor conference meet.
