INDIANAPOLIS – Senior Emily Camlet and sophomore Lauryn Brown of the Drew University women's track & field team have made the cut to compete at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Championships, it was announced Friday evening.
 
Camlet (400-meter dash) and Brown (triple jump) will compete in one event apiece at the three-day meet, which will be held May 21-23 at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
 
For each individual event contested, the top-22 student-athletes were accepted into the competition.
 
Camlet is seeded 21st in the 400 and will compete in preliminary heats on Friday at 4:50 p.m. CST, with the final scheduled for Saturday at 2:10 p.m. She is making her third appearance at the NCAA Division III Championships but her first outdoors after competing at the 2025 and 2026 indoor championships, where she placed 20th and 17th, respectively.
 
Brown enters the meet seeded 19th in the triple jump (11.90m/39- 1/2), which is scheduled for Saturday at 2 p.m. CDT. She will be making her first appearance at nationals after posting her qualifying performance on the day before selections were made.
