MADISON, N.J. – The Drew University men's lacrosse team came up on the short end of a 17-6 decision to the University of Scranton in a Landmark Conference affair Wednesday evening in Ranger Stadium.
The Royals (7-6, 5-0 LC), who share the lead in the Landmark Conference standings, never trailed after opening the game on a 7-1 run.
Senior
Tommy Larmore scored a pair of goals for the Rangers (6-7, 1-4 LC) while juniors
Charlie Collins and
Joey Larmore contributed one goal and one assist apiece. Senior
Kellum Foster-Palmer and freshman
Conor Kagel also score one goal apiece for the Rangers.
Between the pipes, freshman
Joe Barnish registered 13 saves for Drew.
Myles McCutcheon registered four goals and four assists to lead Scranton while Declan Allen saved nine shots for the Royals.
The Rangers continue their season on Saturday, when they visit Lycoming College in a Landmark Conference tilt starting at 1 p.m.
