SHAWNEE ON DELAWARE, Pa. – Sophomore Elliot Parker won his first Landmark Conference title and the Rangers finished a close second in the team standings following the second and final day of the Landmark Conference Men's Golf Championships on Sunday at Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort.

Parker fired an even-par 72 on the strength of four birdies on Sunday to finish with a 36-hole score of 139 (67-72), marking the second-best two-round score of his career. He beat out runner-up Colin Coogan of Catholic University by four strokes for the title.

Drew has now captured three Landmark Conference men's golf individual titles, as Lucas Artigliere won it in both 2019 and 2022.

In the team standings, the Rangers shot a 296 on Sunday to finish with a score of 589 (293-296), placing just behind the University of Scranton, which won the team title by two strokes for the second year in a row. The Royals shot a 587 (296-291) and entered the day trailing by three strokes.

By virtue of his medalist honor, Parker is also named the Landmark Conference Men's Golfer of the Year. In addition, he earns a spot on the All-Landmark Conference First Team for the second year in a row.

Finishing second for the Rangers was junior Mike Ford, who placed ninth in the field of 49 with a 149 (73-76). Ford, who birdied four holes, earned a spot on the All-Landmark Conference Second Day for finishing in the seventh through 12th-place range.

The rest of Drew's lineup all shot 153, as sophomore Shiv Bhaskar (81-72), sophomore Liam Larkin (77-76), and freshman Eric Castner (76-77) were among a tie for 16th place. Larkin birdied four holes on Sunday while Bhaskar and Castner posted two birdies each.
