JACKSONVILLE, N.C. – Sophomore
Elliot Parker turned in a stellar performance at the 51st annual Camp Lejeune Collegiate, which concluded on Sunday at Paradise Point Golf Club in North Carolina.
Competing in his first collegiate 54-hole event, Parker finished just one stroke behind the individual medalist, shooting a 2-under-par 214 (73-69-72) while earning the third-place medal in the field of 100.
As a team, the Rangers shot a 924 (310-300-314) and finished 12th in the field of 20.
On Sunday, Parker fired four birdies to finish with nine for the tournament to go with a pair of eagles. On the season, he has shot par or better in eight of his 12 rounds, and he has finished in the top five in all six of his events.

Shiv Bhaskar, who fired a 235 (81-72-82) to tie for 66th. Freshman
Nicky Riscica tied for 79th with a 237 (77-81-79) and birded two holes on Sunday while senior
Matvey Pangan completed the team scoring with a 239 (80-78-81), which included one birdie in the final round. Junior
Mike Ford was also in action and carded a 252 (80-86-86).
Oglethorpe won the team title by 14 strokes with a 861 while Oglethorpe's Michael O'Sullivan and Averett's Killian O'Reilly tied for first with a 213 each.
The Rangers continue their season when two different teams compete next week. A "B" team will compete at the Garden State Collegiate Classic on Saturday at Hawk Pointe Golf Club in Washington, N.J. while the primary squad will participate in the ABARTA Coco-Cola Collegiate Invitational, hosted by Lafayette College at Northampton Country Club on Saturday and Sunday in Easton, Pa.
