MADISON, N.J. – The Drew University women's volleyball lost by a score of 3-0 to John Jay College in non-conference action Tuesday evening in Baldwin Gym.
The Bloodhounds by scores of 25-21, 25-21, and 25-23.

Teeya Desgoutte posted four kills and nine digs for the Rangers while classmate
Emily Shirk posted four kills and three blocks. Junior
Marissa Guajardo tallied four kills while sophomore
Alyssa Rachwal distributed 11 assists.
Julia Stuart and Josanne Lewis led John Jay with 12 and 10 kills, respectively.
The Rangers jumped to a 17-13 lead in the opening set before the Bloodhounds rallied, closing on a 12-4 run. In the second set, Drew trailed 24-16 but put up a late rally, running off a 5-0 spurt before the visitors scored the final point.
The hosts raced out to a 10-4 lead in the final set before John Jay came back, eventually taking the lead at 17-16. John Jay edged to a 23-20 lead before the Rangers scored three straight points, capped by an ace from Guajardo that tied the set at 23-23. However, the Bloodhounds scored the final two points.
The Rangers return to action with a home tri-match on Saturday, when they host Hunter at 11 a.m. and Manhattanville at 3 p.m.
