FLEETWOOD, Pa. – Junior Elliot Parker and the Drew University men's golf team registered one of its most impressive performances in team history on Sunday and Monday at the Golden Oaks Shootout, hosted by Arcadia University.

As a team, the Rangers set school records for both 18 holes and 36 holes and won their third straight team title, winning by 29 strokes.

The Blue and Green shot a 4-under-par 284 on Monday, taking one stroke off the 18-hole school record set on April 16, 2023 at the Garden State Collegiate Classic. In addition, the team's final 36-hole score of 574 (-2) shattered the program record by 10 strokes, as the former standard of 584 was set on Sept. 11-12, 2022 at The Gauntlet. It was the first time in team history that the Rangers shot under par for a 36-hole event.

Individually, Parker carded a 68 (-4) on Monday to finish the tournament with a 9-under 135, lowering his own school record by three strokes. He led a 1-2 Drew finish, as sophomore Avery Cohen closed with a collegiate-low 66 (-6), the second-best score in team history entering the day, and ended with a 142.

Parker birdied five holes and eagled the par-5 fifth hole on Monday while Cohen recorded four birdies, notched an eagle on the par-5 18th hole, and parred his other 13 holes.

Drew's third finisher was senior Myles Cherry, who tied for sixth in the field of 48 with a 147 (74-73) while posting two birdies on Monday. Junior Ryan Ricci rounded out the team score with a 150 (73-77), which placed him in a three-way tie for ninth. Senior Mike Ford was also in action and tied for 20th with a 155 (76-79), who birdied three holes on Monday.

Hood University placed second with a 603 while Arcadia and the Albright College "B" team tied for third with a 611.
