GLASSBORO, N.J. – The Drew University women's volleyball team competed in a pair of matches on Saturday at the Rowan University Matt Blatt Mitsubushi Profs Invitational.
 
The Rangers opened the day with a 3-0 (25-16, 25-22, 25-11) loss versus Widener University before falling in three sets (25-18, 25-9, 25-16) to Rowan.
 
Against Widener, junior 
Emily Shirk paced the Rangers with six kills while sophomore 
Alyssa Rachwal distributed 19 assists. Senior 
Genevieve Sarinelli contributed 10 digs.
 
Freshman 
Camille Schiralli led Drew with seven kills against Rowan while Shirk handed out 11 assists. Junior 
Marissa Guajardo chipped in six kills and three aces while Sarinelli scooped another six digs.
 
The Rangers return home on Tuesday, when they take on John Jay College at 7 p.m. in a non-conference affair.
