BETHELEHEM, Pa. – The Drew University women's volleyball was handed a 3-0 setback from Moravian University in a Landmark Conference matchup Friday evening.
The Greyhounds won the opening two sets by scores of 25-18 and 25-20, 25-23. The Rangers attempted a comeback in the third set and held a 23-20 lead before Moravian closed the match on a 5-0 run.
Sophomore
Lindsey Millis posted 11 kills while making just error on 21 attempts for a .476 hitting night. Senior
Marissa Guajardo threw down nine kills without making an error on 18 swings for a .500 hitting performance, and junior
Alyssa Rachwal dished out 26 assists. Sophomore
Aidyn Stone added 10 digs.
The Rangers return to action on Saturday when they compete in a tri-match at Wilkes University. Drew takes on Wilkes at noon in its Landmark Conference regular-season finale before taking on Ramapo College at 2 p.m. in a non-conference tilt.
