WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Sophomore Turkcan Curak scored a goal in the 76th minute and the Drew University men's soccer team played to a 1-1 tie at Lycoming College in a Landmark Conference matchup Saturday afternoon.

The Rangers (6-2-2, 0-1-1 LC) outshot the Warriors 16-10 while earning their first conference point of the season.

Junior Donovan Friedhoff collected four saves for Drew while Jace Bennett turned aside seven shots for Lycoming (3-3-4, 0-0-2 LC).

After a scoreless first half, the Warriors went ahead 1-0 on a penalty-kick goal from Christian Woobay in the 57th minute.

Curak pulled the Rangers even when he drilled in an unassisted tally for his first goal of the season. Junior Ignacio Martinez placed a shot on goal in the 87th minute but Bennett made his final stop on the attempt.

The Rangers are back in action on Wednesday, when they visit Moravian University in another Landmark Conference affair starting at 7 p.m.
