TOWSON, Md. – Senior Liam Larkin has been selected as the Landmark Conference Men's Golf Athlete of the Week.
 
Larkin captured medalist honors with a one-stroke victory to lead Drew's "B" team at the DeSales Invitational, shooting a 2-under-par 142 (71-71) en route to his second career victory. He shot eight birdies for the tournament, including five in the opening round, and helped the Rangers post a score of 610 (311-299) to finish third among 11 teams.
 
For the season, Larkin has averaged a 76.0 over eight rounds.
 
The Rangers compete in the final round of the West Pines Intercollegiate on Tuesday before competing at The Melee Oct. 19-20 at Ford's Colony Country Club in Williamsburg, Va.
