Four Named to CSC Academic All-District Women's Volleyball Team

CSC Academic All-District Women's Volleyball Team

MADISON, N.J. – Four members of the Drew University women's volleyball team have earned a spot on the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team.
 
Senior middle blocker Inaya Stanford and junior setter Alyssa Rachwal captured their second CSC Academic All-District award while senior middle blocker Marissa Guajardo and sophomore outside hitter Lindsey Millis was recognized for the first time.
 
The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes women's volleyball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
 
To be nominated for the CSC Academic All-America program, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore with a 3.5 or higher cumulative grade-point average and be a starter or significant reserve who has appeared in at least 90 percent of the team's matches or started 66 percent of the team's matches. Each school may nominate a maximum of four student-athletes for the CSC Academic All-District Women's Volleyball program.
 
Stanford, a political science major and French minor, appeared 28 of the team's matches and made 26 starts this past season. She led the team with 38 total blocks, averaging 0.38 per set while also finishing third among the Rangers in kills per set (1.71 kps).
 
A media & communications major and psychology minor, Rachwal played in 28 matches while making 27 starts. She led the team in assists (6.29 aps) while also finishing fourth in both digs (2.01 dps) and aces (0.34 aps).
 
Guajardo, an international relations and Spanish major and economics minor, played in 28 matches this past season while making 16 starts. She finished fourth among the Rangers in blocks (0.26 bps), and she also averaged 1.19 kills and 0.21 aces per set.
 
A psychology major, Millis played in and started 30 matches this past season. An All-Landmark Conference Honorable Mention selection, she led the Rangers and finished sixth in the Landmark Conference in kills, averaging 2.85 per set. In addition, she finished second on the team and 12th in the conference in digs (3.18 dps).
